Warranty/Returns policy


We combine premium quality materials with a highly skilled manufacturing process. Should any of our products develop a manufacturing or material fault within 6 months from purchase date, you can return the product for inspection, please see the steps below. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse or accidental damage and is conditional upon care instructions being followed. This warranty does not affect your statutory rights in any way.


Please note the following points relating to all inov-8 SA product returns:

All Product Returns:


  • All returns require a RAN (Return Authorisation Number) – the RAN is a tracking number only; it is an acceptance of a return not an acknowledgement of credit.
  • Authorisation of a return can only be made by an authorised inov-8 SA representative.
  • No goods will be accepted by any inov-8 SA personnel without a RAN number and prior authority being obtained.
  • RAN numbers can be requested at returns@rebel-inc.co.za


Undamaged Product:


This refers to cancelled orders (customer receives shoes and prefers to not keep the purchase) and size exchanges.

  • Goods must not have been worn and still be in the original undamaged packaging.
  • No goods more than 14 days from date of receipt will be accepted.
  • With all cancelled orders or exchanges the responsibility for the return of the product, including payment of shipping, falls with the customer, unless otherwise prearranged.


Faulty Product:


This refers to faulty or damaged goods, where a customer claims that the inov-8 product has failed.

  • Faulty returns must have a RAN (Return Authorisation Number) number.
  • Only goods used in the right application will be considered as faulty goods.
  • Goods affected by misuse or accidental damage; normal wear and tear; and negligent care will not be accepted for return.
  • The original invoice/online order number must be provided.
  • All faulty returns will be inspected and the application assessed prior to credit or replacement being issued.
  • Photographs clearly showing the fault must be emailed through to: returns@rebel-inc.co.za for inspection. If photographs of the fault do not suffice for inspection purposes, inov-8 SA will arrange for collection of the goods.
  • If faulty goods collected by inov-8 SA are assessed and found to be not faulty, the original courier charge for collection of goods & subsequent redelivery to customer will be at their cost.
  • inov-8 SA will honour its guarantee to replace its product should the failure be a result of manufacturing error or faulty material. If a straight replacement is not available a suitable replacement will be provided or store credit will be passed.


Product Exchanges:


  • Exchanges will be handled by prior agreement. Please contact returns@rebel-inc.co.za or contact us on 011 450 3167
  • No goods more than 14 days from date of receipt will be accepted
  • Invoice/online order number and purchase date must be quoted.
  • Goods must be unworn and still be in the original undamaged packaging. Images of the goods in their original condition must be provided.


What is "normal wear and tear?"


Normal wear and tear is defined as the wearing down of the sole or upper of a shoe, whilst only wearing it for its intended use.



Care


"We're all tempted to just stuff them in the bag until we use them next." Cleaning the shoe regularly ensures that no small particles of dirt or grit are left inside the shoe which can cause the premature abrasion on your socks and lining of the shoe (not to mention your foot).

Remove the footbed, wash it down inside and out with water or rinse it in a stream if you're out in the middle of nowhere, since we know you like that kind of thing. Allow to dry naturally with the footbed removed, DO NOT force dry as this can damage the uppers and midsole.
